The Homeopathic Approach to Autism
Autism is an issue in a growing percentage of homes throughout the world. The US CDC current estimate the autistic population to be 1 in 40, with males and females evenly represented.
The homeopath is presented with a unique opportunity to treat problems arising out of autistic anxiety, as well as other comorbidities commonly presented.
Organisation of the book
Part 1 is an introduction to the nature of autism and an explanation of how it impinges on literally everything the autistic client says, thinks, and does.
Part 2 provides an analysis of the therapeutic matters to be taken into consideration, and offers therapeutic rationales.
Part 3 provides a discussion on the nature of potency, its influence, and selection, and a suggested approach to posology (dosing).
Part 4 suggests homeopathic strategies for the treatment of the autistic patient, including:
• preparing a therapeutic strategy
• taking the neurodivergent case, and awareness of issues
• prescribing, patient instruction, and follow-up
• constitutional therapy for autism itself.
Part 5 Provides a limited suggested materia medica for the neurodivergent patient.
